Detox at the Estate

The Estate at River Bend offers medically-supervised detoxification/withdrawal management services. This program is housed in a separate facility on campus with all of the latest amenities. Clients are welcomed into a home-like environment while receiving care from highly competent medical and clinical professionals.

About Detox – Treatment & Timeline

Detox, or withdrawal management, is often the first step on the path to recovery. For many clients, medical assistance is necessary to safely begin this journey. The Estate at River Bend understands the unique challenges of those suffering from withdrawal due to an addictive illness.

The Estate at River Bend offers medically-supervised detoxification/withdrawal management services. This program is housed in a separate, newly-constructed facility on campus with all of the latest amenities. Clients are welcomed into a home-like environment while receiving care from highly competent medical and clinical professionals.

After acute withdrawal subsides, which can last anywhere from 3-10 days depending on the substance and level of physical dependence, clients have the opportunity to continue in residential treatment. During this phase, clients will begin the management of co-occurring psychiatric conditions, trauma therapy, recovery planning, and relapse prevention planning.

At The Estate, we believe in individualized treatment; the length of stay is always determined by the client’s individual needs. The clinical team will assist individuals seeking detoxification without residential treatment in creating a discharge plan to continue in their recovery journey.
