Serving Those Who Have Served

Substance use disorder is more prevalent among veterans compared to the general population. This problem extends beyond mere alcohol or drug misuse. Statistically, an average of 22 veterans commit suicide daily, with substance use frequently being a precursor to such suicidal tendencies. The scarcity of treatment choices and delays in accessing care can make the search for a suitable rehabilitation program for veterans a daunting task.

Hero's Path Bradford Health Services Recovery Program

Drug and Alcohol Treatment for Active-Duty Military and Veterans

Hero’s Path provides addiction treatment for veterans, granting access to essential understanding, support, and resources needed to overcome addiction and regain control of their lives. Our approach involves evidence-based treatment plans customized for each individual, acknowledging their courage and aiding them in harnessing their potential for positive change. We equip servicemen and women with the tools to face the challenges of their past and embark on their recovery path with bravery and resolve.

Understanding the Military Experience

The military experience can be rewarding, yet its demands often leave a lasting mark. Veterans and active-duty members struggling with addiction frequently bear hidden scars such as complex PTSD, trauma, pain, and grief. These internal struggles can greatly affect their patterns of substance use.

Our curriculum is designed to be relevant and specific to the individual experiences of each participant, offering:

    • Individual and Group Therapy with Peers
    • Trauma-Informed Care
    • Experiential Therapy
    • Mental Health Dual-Diagnosis Support
    • Outpatient, Aftercare, and Ongoing Support Programs
