Our residential treatment center takes the focus back to making a difference in people’s lives — your life, your family’s life — with the proven clinical, administrative, and organizational qualifications to treat the whole person at any point on the path to recovery. Our addiction treatment programs offer both nature-based experiential therapies as well as traditional treatment approaches with 12-Step fundamentals.
We understand how frequently mental health issues lie beneath drug or alcohol addiction, known as co-occurring disorders. At the Estate at River Bend, we have masters-level therapists on staff with comprehensive training and understanding of how to treat co-occurring disorders. Not only can we help you address substance abuse; we also look deeper to uncover what fuels your addiction, addressing that simultaneously for a more effective recovery.
We treat: Depression, Anxiety, Bi-Polar, Self-Defeating Personality Traits
“If you’re looking for a place for real, deep down recovery then you’ve found it. The staff is second to none all the way around. The grounds are beautiful and the facilities are very comfortable. I wouldn’t trade my time and experience there for anything in the world.”
Meet regularly with an individual therapist to uncover underlying triggers or experiences that are fueling your drug or alcohol addiction.
Explore the relationship between your thoughts, feelings and behaviors and gain control over your emotions and actions to make better choices and develop more effective coping skills.
The Estate is proud to offer Hero’s Path, a comprehensive addiction treatment program for veterans, designed specifically to address the experiences and the challenges our nation’s heroes face on their path to recovery.
Not all clients arrive at a treatment facility fully convinced they want to change their drug and alcohol behaviors. Motivational interviewing is a technique that empowers clients to take responsibility for their recovery and discover their own motivation to change. It is based on the belief that real change comes from within, not from a counselor or therapist dictating solutions to problems.
Addiction affects the entire family; therefore, involving our client’s family members is important. It allows us to explore family issues, roles and relationships, and set boundaries with loved ones.
Our clients participate in the 12-Step process of completing step work and applying 12-Step principles to daily living during their stay. Attending meetings during and after treatment is documented to increase lengths of sobriety and reinforce recovery skills.
For most, recovery is process of letting go of habits that negatively affect their lives. Individuals have the option of assistance in smoking cessation while in the program through medications, counseling and social support.
Mindfulness is the practice of purposely focusing your attention on the present moment—and accepting it without judgment. Mindfulness has been found to improve physical and mental health, stress reduction, and overall happiness. The Estate at River Bend incorporates Mindfulness-Based Stress Management skills training into the therapeutic activities offered.
Our beautiful natural surroundings are an integral part of the healing process with research-based experiential therapy modalities that include ropes courses for both one-on-one and group sessions. It’s a metaphorical therapeutic experience where you’ll learn important recovery lessons about trust, communication, perseverance, team-building and other tools for overcoming obstacles to sobriety.
