We’re proud to announce a new agreement with Humana Military (TRICARE), which extends our in-network coverage for military families seeking addiction treatment services. Effective April 1, this marks a significant expansion in our commitment to supporting veterans and active-duty military on their journey to recovery.
TRICARE Coverage: Bridging the Gap to Accessible Addiction Treatment
By accepting TRICARE, the Hero’s Path program at The Estate at River Bend is removing financial barriers to accessing high-quality addiction treatment for active-duty military families.

Enhancements to the Hero’s Path Military and Veterans Addiction Treatment Program
Alongside the new TRICARE agreement, The Estate is further enhancing its Hero’s Path program to include specialized support through the expertise of Certified Sex Addiction Therapists (CSATs) and a dedicated track for survivors of Military Sexual Trauma (MST), a critical aspect of care for many veterans.
Introducing Specialized Support: Certified Sexual Addiction Therapists
Acknowledging the profound impact of trauma on addiction, Hero’s Path at The Estate now integrates the expertise of Certified Sex Addiction Therapists (CSATs) into the Hero’s Path program. These therapists specialize in treating compulsive sexual behaviors and sex addiction, offering insights and treatment modalities that address the root causes of these issues, many of which stem from traumatic experiences.
Addressing Military Sexual Trauma (MST)
We recognize the difficult experience of sexual assault or threatening sexual harassment while serving in the military, known as Military Sexual Trauma (MST). MST affects veterans of all genders and backgrounds, leaving deep emotional scars.
Within the Hero’s Path program, The Estate offers a dedicated MST track, providing specialized care and support for survivors of MST. This track underscores our commitment to whole-person healing, ensuring that all facets of a veteran’s experience are acknowledged and treated with the utmost care and compassion.
These enhancements ensure that our staff is thoroughly equipped to address the complex needs of our veteran and active-duty military members, offering a safe and supportive environment for recovery from both substance use and the impacts of trauma.
